Meet the team at Avonhead Vets

I have 20 years experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. I worked with Bailey, Marshall and Pringle before doing my big OE where I worked in Britain and Germany. I’ve also spent 10 years at the Merivale/Papanui Vet clinic. When not working I’m usually busy on my 10 acre block or chasing a little black ball around a squash court. Pete recently added a Springer Spaniel puppy, Toby, to his family that also includes Boots the cat. 

Upon deciding that I would love to work with animals on a day to day basis I recently achieved my certificate in vet nursing from the Christchurch Polytech in 2008. Prior to that I gained my B.A. from the Canterbury University in 2006. Outside of work I enjoy photography - anything from landscapes to people (and animals when my cat Nessie allows it).
