Marilyn

Marilyn’s family now resides in Christchurch following a RNZAF military career of 30 years that had them living in more than eight regions of New Zealand, plus Singapore. Following years spent managing restaurants, and working for the TAB and Inland Revenue, Marilyn became a Veterinary Nursing Assistant. Marilyn enjoys her work because it allows her to indulge her two favourite things: people and animals. Through Avonhead Vets, she also feeds and cares for pets when their owners are away. Her other main interest is travel, and she has seen the Canadian Rockies, England, Wales and the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is also retired from horse showing after 20 years.

Sheryl 

Sheryl is the modern super woman – she does all our accounts/invoices plus a lot of the behind the scenes work. Sheryl is enjoying being a super-mum while juggling the role being the amazing nurse behind the Animal Dermatology Canterbury Limited. Not to mention, she is an amazing baker and is apart of the NZ bowls champion (4’s) team! You will see her smiling face at Avonhead Vets, with Dr Sylvia McLean, on Friday’s with the Animal Dermatology Canterbury Limited Clinic.
